Christ United Methodist Church of Lincoln seeks to fulfill God's wishes by sharing the love of Jesus Christ with all peoples, by caring for others and being responsive to their needs, and by serving the church community with witnessing God's word of love, forgiveness, and mercy to all. We believe Christian love is both personal and social. And the command to "love your neighbor as yourself" charges us to seek truth, fairness, tolerance, and responsibility. To accomplish this vision, as members of Christ United Methodist Church we will:

Dedicate ourselves to nurturing the needs and aspirations of the congregation and community we serve;
Support one another through our prayers, presence, gifts and services;
Create a Christian educational environment that encourages intellectual growth and human freedom in faith and in the love of Christ.

Sharing, caring, service, witnessing, dedicating, supporting and creating describe the visionary thrust of people seeking to enact the great commission of Jesus:

"Go into all the world and tell the Good News"

This is a vision without end, but the process is both essential and fulfilling.
